Plan Now to attend the 41st Annual Ice Screamers Convention, to be held July 20 - 22, 2023, in York,  Pennsylvania, at the Wyndham Garden York.

This year, The Ice Screamers will share this venue with the 2023 Convention of the Antique Advertising Association of America.  Members of “quad A” are dedicated to collecting and preserving antique country store advertising, from signs to ephemera, whether tin, wood, or paper.  Visit AAAA to learn more.

While the two conventions will be administered by their respective organizations, both conventions offer several activities for all attendees, with the general public invited to join in as well.

The Public is invited to attend on Friday, July 21, 2023:

  * 10 am - 3 pm     Soda Fountain Collectibles Show and Sale offers free ice cream with admission:  $ 5 / person; and

  * 1 pm - 3 pm          AAAA Show, Sale and Silent Auction. Free admission.

Scoops Fountainware Cartons and more for sale
You'll meet collectors of all ages from the United States, and from several foreign countries. Mingle with our diverse family of collectors: from historic soda fountain owners to authors of books on ice cream history. Show tables for item sales and evening dinners are available as options.

    Thursday

    • Check into the hotel, then check out the Hospitality Suite to greet arriving Ice Screamers
    • Relax and reminisce with collectors and friends, old and new
    • Choose a seat among friends for the Welcome Dinner where the food is delicious and the conversations are lively
    • Enjoy flavors from outrageous to sublime during the much-heralded and always-memorable Ice Cream Tasting
    • Place the winning bid during the Dick Warren Memorial Cone Hat Charitable Auction, then delight your favorite charity with the proceeds
    • See how many scoops you can place on a cone during the hilarious ice cream cone stacking contest

    Friday

    • Start your day with our delightful complimentary Continental Breakfast
    • View one-of-a-kind ice cream collectibles on display from our members' private collections
    • Find that special must-have item when the doors open for the Ice Screamers-only Preview
    • Then buy, sell, and trade ice cream memorabilia with members AND the general public from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
    • Ask your soda fountain questions during our Talk to the Experts sessions, from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
    • Help yourself to a cone or cup of complimentary ice cream served with smiles and sprinkles!
    • Join us for an Evening Dinner, followed by an engaging speaker or amazing entertainment.

    Saturday

    • Share tales of fantastic finds and cool facts about ice cream history and soda fountain memorabilia during ourFantastic Free Styling Forum before
    • Brunching with fellow collectors, browsing local antique malls,and visiting area attractions.

    Our very affordable Registration fee includes: your Convention packet of materials, a limited edition commemorative lapel pin, a Continental Breakfast, Hospitality Room admission, ice cream during the Show and Sale, one free table rental for your Display-Only Private Collection items, and all entertainment.  Show and Sale tables and evening dinners are available as options.
